Why December is a GREAT Time to Purchase a Home!
- This is a definite fallacy as I have had many clients over the years purchase a home during this period
- Reduced inventory but also less buyer competition during this period. Many serious sellers have their home available during this period
- The possibility of sellers wanting or needing to sell by year end can create urgency on their part, which could be advantageous price wise to a qualified buyer
- Mortgage interest rates are currently favourable
- For buyers wanting to take possession before Christmas, there are numerous vacant home options. As of November 20, 31.5% of Detached homes listed were actually vacant!
